~ Strawberry from Munakata Farm in Mercure Fukuoka~

 

At our hotel, we purchased strawberry seedlings as an owner at Munakata Strawberry Farm, and staff participated in farm work such as planting and thinning to grow strawberries. We will start a special project to deliver strawberries that will begin harvesting from late December 2025 to customers. Please enjoy smoothies and sauces arranged with strawberries in the buffet.

"Strawberry" special project to announce the arrival of winter.
Nightcap, which concludes the day of the trip, devises a cocktail recipe that bartenders can easily make. You can enjoy sweet fragrance and sparkling in the glass. Even if you are new to cocktails, you can enjoy it casually. (There is also a non-alcoholic menu.)

At the beginning of the year, we will prepare a good luck menu in the buffet for the New Year's project (limited time) of Munakata, which has a historical atmosphere such as Hatsumode and Setsubun. Please enjoy a trip to Fukuoka and Munakata, a treasure trove of food.

There are many low mountain spots around the hotel that are easy for beginners to challenge.
Please enjoy the winter fun unique to a warm climate with little snow.

▮Rare celestial show, Hokuto's water pool

 

Hokutonomizukumi Seaside Park next to Michi-no-Eki Munakata. From autumn to winter, you can see "Hokuto no Mizukami" where the Big Dipper in the shape of a shark looks like watering. This spectacle is located at latitude 33 to 34 degrees north and can only be seen in landscapes with horizontal lines in the north. It is said that this condition is met as part of northern Kyushu in the world, including Munakata City.

▮Light Road, Sunset Festival

 

A light road that can be seen from the approach to Miyajidake Shrine every February and October. It is crowded with many worshipers to see a special moment at a glance. For about 20 days during the period, events will be held on and around the precincts at the sunset festival. Please drop in at least once.

Every week, we have a kids corner limited to weekends and holidays.
It is a playground for children from infants to lower grades of elementary school.
