Munakata Taisha, whose name is left in Kojiki. The goddess of the goddess of Amaterasu Ogami are enshrined at Okitsu-miya, Nakatsunomiya, and Hetsunomiya, respectively, and this Sannomiya is collectively called Munakata Taisha.

Okitsumiya Yohaisho (Okitsumiya Yohaisho)

Okitsunomiya Yohaisho on Oshima is a component of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage "Kamijukurushima" Munakata and Okinoshima, and related heritage groups. From the building, you can see Okinoshima, the "Kamijukuru Island" beyond the sea, and plays a role as a worship hall that worships Okinoshima as a sacred body. In addition, since Okinoshima is forbidden for women, women have long prayed from this place of worship to Okitsu-gu Shrine. It is a valuable spot that symbolizes the way of worship for Okinoshima. On a clear day, you can clearly see the island shadow of Okinoshima.

The birthplace of the legend of Tanabata, Toushi Shrine and Orime Shrine

Munakata Oshima is known as the birthplace of the legend of Tanabata.
Orime Shrine enshrines Orihime on the hill on the left toward Nakatsunomiya. On the right hill, Toushi Shrine enshrines Toushi. The two are collectively called the "Hoshinomiya", and a romantic legend related to the Milky Way is told. When you visit Nakatsunomiya, please visit us together.
