Munakata-taisha Shrine, whose name is left in Kojiki (The Records of Ancient Matters). The god of worship is the three goddess of Amaterasu Ogami, enshrined at Okitsu-miya, Nakatsunomiya, and Hetsunomiya, and this Sannomiya is collectively called Munakata Taisha.

Okitsunomiya Yohaijo

Okitsunomiya Yohaijo on Oshima is a constituent asset of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, Munakata and Okinoshima Island, and related heritage groups. From the building, you can see "Kamijukuru Island" Okinoshima beyond the sea, and plays a role as a worship hall that worships Okinoshima as a sacred body. In addition, since Okinoshima is prohibited from women, women have long prayed from this place of worship to Okitsunomiya. It is a valuable spot that symbolizes the way of faith in Okinoshima. On a clear day, you can clearly see the island shadow of Okinoshima.
