[World Heritage Site] Niihara and Nuyama Burial Mounds
A panoramic view of the Burial Mounds and the Sea of Genkai
From the observatory on the hill, you can overlook the tombs and the Sea of Genkai.
It is one of the prefecture's leading tombs, where 41 ancient tombs of the Munakata clan remain between paddy fields.
In autumn, about 150,000 cosmos, and in spring, rape blossoms spread all over are colorful and beautiful.
Tumulus Festival
The Fukutsu Tumulus Festival is held in March every year. While looking at the blue sky, the Sea of Genkai, magnificent tombs, and rape blossoms draw a beautiful contrast from the hill. Please enjoy the spring walk course.
